Summit Salon Academy – Portland, signed and returned to the Department of Education the Certification and Agreement and the assurance that the institution intends to use, no less than 50 percent of the funds received under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act to provide Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students.

Summit Salon Academy – Portland received from the Department of Education pursuant to the institution’s Certification and Agreement $62,921 Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students.

The estimated total number of students at the institution eligible to participate in programs under Section 484 in Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965 and thus eligible to receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act is 45.

To be eligible to receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants from Summit Salon Academy – Portland, students must:

• Fill out the COVID-19 Student Aid Survey by 6/15/2020.
• Have a 2019-2020 FAFSA on file with the Academy that shows the student is eligible for financial aid.
• Have been an active student in the academy from March 13, 2020 (date the COVID-19 emergency was declared) through June 15,2020 or are currently on an approved leave of absence as of 3/19/2020 (when the academy switched to online learning.)
• Amount of grant aid is $1398.25
